On 25 January, three officers were installed by the Divisional Commander for the School for Officer Training: Major Shiv Ram, as the assistant training principal and Captains Eleni and Rupeni Daucakacaka as the training officers.

Newly installed officers were reminded of the responsibilities before them and the crucial role they play in living out the mission of The Salvation Army where God has placed them.

Officers and divisional staff also enjoyed a one-day team building and training session, led by Major Phillippa Serevi. Proverbs 16:3, ‘Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans,’ provided the focus for spiritual nourishment. ‘The fun and insightful sessions supported us to consider on our personal and professional goals,’ shared Major Limaina Turaga. ‘With so many stepping forward into leadership and responsibility, there is much to be thankful for Fiji, and 2026 is off to a great start!’
