Paradise: Season 2
Thriller | Created by Dan Fogelman | Watch on Disney+ (Hulu)
Following the strong, intriguing debut of Paradise, expectations were high for Season 2. While it doesn’t always hit the ground running, it ultimately delivers. The season opens with a surprising shift in perspective, introducing new characters whose relevance isn’t immediately clear. It takes a few episodes for the threads to align, but the payoff rewards early patience. Season 1 thrived on its inventive post-apocalyptic premise and claustrophobic, closed-world setting. Season 2 initially struggles to recapture that momentum, especially as it steps outside the ‘Paradise’ environment, where uneven performances and coincidence-heavy plotting become more noticeable. Still, the series finds its footing by the finale, restoring tension and leaving viewers confident the story is heading somewhere meaningful. (Reviewed by Kai Sanders)
