The Sheep Detectives is a fun family watch, following a flock of sheep as they try to solve the murder of their beloved shepherd. The storyline is surprisingly melancholy at times, touching on grief and isolation throughout the film—but this is balanced with the complete silliness of the premise, quirky humour and overall charm. The cast is stacked with star power, and the ace CGI animation brings the sheep to life with just the right amount of personality, making it easy to relate to the flock and get caught up in the mystery alongside them.
