To Love and Serve Him Supremely All My Days: Honouring Harold Hill
Friends, family and Salvationists gathered in The Salvation Army Cuba Street auditorium on September 28 to celebrate the launch of To Love and Serve Him Supremely All My Days, a new e-book bringing together the writings, talks and reflections of the late Harold Hill. Harold, a respected Salvation Army officer, historian and theologian, was remembered as a thoughtful and often provocative voice who challenged the Church to think deeply about its mission and place in society. Warm tributes from his widow, Major Dr Pat Hill, and long-time friends Colonel Margaret Hay and Major Kingsley Sampson painted a picture of a generous, witty and deeply committed Christian whose ideas and writings continue to inspire.
