Ma’ata Akoteu, the mother of Captain Samisoni Akoteu, was promoted to Glory on Saturday 18 July 2026, from her village in Ha’apai, Tonga, aged 85 years. We ask you to uphold Captains Samisoni and Betty Akoteu and other family members in your prayers during this time of grief and loss. Please also pray for Captain Samisoni as he prepares to travel from Uganda to Tonga to be with family.
Birth: Congratulations are extended to Lt Colonels Allan and Deborah Clark on the safe arrival of their first grandchild, Lucas Ken Biggar. Lucas was born in Palmerston North on Sunday 21 June 2026, weighing 8lb 13oz (3.985 kgs). We join with his parents Marisa and Matt Biggar, and grandparents Lt Colonels Allan and Deborah Clark, as they celebrate the birth of Lucas, and pray God’s blessing on them all.
Re-acceptance: Sesilina Palu has been re-accepted into officership with the rank of lieutenant, effective from 28 November 2026. We pray that God will bless and prepare Sesilina as she prepares for her appointment in the new year.
